To provide safety, love, and support to individuals impacted by missing loved ones, victims of trafficking,(sex/labor) and homelessness through food and clothing distribution, shelter, and guidance.
Angel Wings for the Missing, Trafficked, Homeless was started October 2015 when Katina's cousin, who suffers from mental health issues, walked out unsupervised from her personal care home. She was missing for almost two weeks. Katina pleaded on social media to help get the word out and her cousin's picture on the news.
What could have been a horrible outcome for Katina's family turned into a beautiful experience because of the kindness of people across the United States.
Thanks to the overwhelming support and caring of complete strangers, Katina's cousin was found safely and taken to the hospital by an unknown good samaritan.
The ordeal left such a positive impact on Katina's life that she was inspired to continue organizing via social media to help others. Angel Wings for the Missing, Trafficked, Homeless was birthed from this experience.
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others. Think you would be a good fit? Contact us. We would love to hear and partner with you.
